Matrix

MATRIX, a leading brand in hair care and coloring in the United States. It was founded in 1980 by the couple Arnie and Sydell Miller. Before founding Matrix, Mr. Miller was a hairstylist for over 20 years and decided to try his hand at running a different example of a company in 1971, when he developed individually applied lashes. He formed a company, Ardell, to market the product to retailers and beauty salons. Ardell eventually created and sold a hair color product. In the late 1970s, Miller saw that the retail market was shrinking and decided to sell Ardell in 1980 in order to focus on building the Matrix, which would market its products only to professional buyers of hair care products. The Millers wanted to offer hairdressers a wide range of products that would help them grow their businesses and provide the means to make the most of their talent and creativity. Now, more than two decades later, the original ideas of the Millers are alive and well, and Matrix is committed to developing the professional salon, offering a wide range of hair care, coloring and texturing products, including: Biolage, Oil Wonders, Total Results, colorinsider, socolor, Color Sync, Gloss Sync, Logics, LightMaster, V-Light, Vavoom, colorgraphics, Opti.Collection, Opti.Effects, Opti.Smooth and Style Wave.
